Digital Nations is a network of leading digital governments working together to drive digital transformation for the benefit of citizens.

Founded in 2014, it serves as an international forum where members harness the potential global power of digital technology and help one another to become better digital governments faster and more efficiently through mutual information sharing and learning.

Digital Nations Senior Officials Meeting in London
As Incoming President, New Zealand hosted the 2026 Digital Nations Senior Officials meeting in London. The meeting focused on building a shared view of the pressures facing digital government and identifying where collective action can add the most value. Members discussed how to deliver in a constrained environment, strengthen trust, resilience and continuity, progress system-wide digital government, and improve value for money.
Through country updates and facilitated discussions, members considered the practical challenges of fiscal constraint, legacy technology, cyber risk, artificial intelligence, digital sovereignty, workforce capability and reliance on global technology providers. A consistent theme was that digital, data and AI are central to modernising public administration and enabling governments to operate as more connected, productive and resilient systems.
The 2026 Digital Nations Ministerial Summit
The 2026 Ministerial Summit will be hosted by the President country, Estonia, on November 4-6. The Summit will take place in Tallinn, Estonia.
